This is one of the first pieces created under yoUnique Stone! When Peter was visiting Sri Lanka, he made a point of seeking out a Ruby in a country where they are mined. When he was offered this incredible 183ctw cored stone, he decided to step up. There is a learning process that goes with anything, and Peter later learned that the stone itself is a man made Ruby Corundum. It is an extremely high quality jewelry grade Ruby, with incredible deep red color and clarity, but was not mined. No less spectacular, it was designed using primarily White Sterling Silver for the safety and security of such an amazing and yoUnique piece. The color of 14K Gold better matched the deep and dark red of the stone, so it was used for the face with a lightly hammered finish.
